Yung Miami & Mariah The Scientist Exchange Words Regarding Rapper’s ‘BMF’ Acting Debut

Yung Miami and Mariah The Scientist exchanged some words via social media this past weekend regarding the rapper’s acting debut on the television series BMF.

In case you missed it, in a recent BMF episode where Yung Miami makes her debut, her character Deanna is informed by Big Meech, played by Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory, that her husband has been killed. The rapper had viewers excited over her delivery.

Mariah Tweets In Reference To Yung Miami’s “BMF” Lines, Rapper Reacts

Mariah The Scientist took to Twitter Friday to share that she could’ve said Yung Miami’s character’s lines in BMF. 

“I feel like I could’ve said meech where is my husband”

The singer’s tweet caught the attention of Yung Miami, who quickly responded.

“I’m tryna figure out what this mean”

Mariah The Scientist Explains “Meech” Tweet

Social media users immediately speculated that Mariah The Scientist’s tweet was made with a hint of “shade” toward the rapper. The tweet, also shared via The Shade Room’s Instagram accountt, generated a plethora of comments.

“she meant she could do it better than you. that’s what it mean,”  Instagram user @niyxxp commented.

 

@1lucypapers added, “and she better not act like she wasn’t being shady, I hate somebody who don’t stand on their shade.”

However, Mariah The Scientist quickly stepped into The Shade Room to explain her stance.

“First of all I love Yung Miami and bmf and I walk around all day saying meech where is my husband”

The singer then returned to Twitter to defend herself further.

“Stop trying to put words in my mouth, I like the role and the show”

She even added an additional thought.

“Y’all want me 2 be controversial so bad”

Mariah The Scientist Insists She Meant No “Shade” Toward Yung Miami

Shortly after the internet exchange, the 25-year-old then hopped on Instagram Live to share more words with social media users.

“This is what y’all do anytime I tweet anything, off top, it’s a problem. Every time. Every time I tweet something. It don’t matter what I say, period. I walk around all day long saying, ‘Meech, where is my husband?’, all day. Every day…”

Mariah The Scientist went on to explain that she loves Yung Miami and City Girls, and there was “definitely no shade” meant in her comment.
