YFN Lucci reportedly rejected a plea deal in his racketeering case and will head to trial instead.
As a part of the alleged deal, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis recommended a 20-year sentence for the rapper — 17 of which to be served in prison, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

YFN Lucci Rejects Plea Deal That Included 20-Year Sentence, Multiple Charges
The 32-year-old, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett, would have to have pleaded guilty to “felony murder, racketeering, aggravated assault, and violation of the street gang terrorism and prevention act.”
However, Lucci’s attorneys called the prosecutor’s offer “absurd.”
They accused the D.A. of malingering on purpose to drag out Lucci’s waiting period to go to trial. He’s already been incarcerated for 2.5 years, the outlet reports.
They also slammed Willis for what the defense described as an “utter inability to prosecute complex cases.”
“Despite the obstacles consistently placed in the way of Mr. Bennett’s constitutional right to a speedy and fair trial, we continue to be ready and prepared to defend these false allegations,” Lucci’s attorneys added.
Background On Lucci’s Legal Troubles, Getting Stabbed By YSL Associates In Jail
Lucci’s current legal troubles stem from a sweeping 2021 gang indictment, The Shade Room reported at the time.
The rapper is accused of a number of crimes, including being the getaway driver in a deadly gang-related shooting, according to prosecutors.
However, Lucci maintains his innocence and has denied any wrongdoing.
Meanwhile, things have not been too good for Lucci behind bars.
Two of Young Thung’s YSL associates reportedly stabbed Lucci in jail after allegedly asking Thug’s permission to make an attempt on Lucci’s life, as reported by The Shade Room.
Lucci was also stabbed back in Feb. 2022, if you recall. The rapper said he was on a video call when someone used a homemade shank to stab him.
