Yeezus…WYD? Kanye West’s Clothing Prices Might Break The Bank

  
Back in February Kanye unveiled his “YEEZY: Season 1” clothing line to the world and left everyone speechless. Many were underwhelmed and confused, but still eager to purchase his clothing because hey, it’s Kanye.

 After all of that ranting you would think Kanye’s clothes would be affordable right? WRONG! – Japanese publication SENSE Magazine released an editorial on the new line, which included some pricing information. Although the prices are in Japanese Yen it gives you an idea, here are a few examples:

Camo T-Shirt: ¥25,000 JPY (Approximately $210 USD)

SFT Sweat Pant: ¥60,000 JPY (Approximately $500 USD)

Yeezy 950: ¥61,500 JPY (Approximately $510 USD)

Long Fur Coat: ¥368,000 JPY (Approximately $3,060 USD)

Jersey Tank: ¥19,500 JPY (Approximately $160 USD)

Tab Bottom Pant: ¥61,500 JPY (Approximately $510 USD)

These prices contradict Kanye’s previous rants about clothing being overpriced. In his Oxford University Speech, Kanye slammed high priced clothing saying “Clothing should be like food. There should never be a $5,000 sweater. You know what should cost $5,000? A car should be $5,000. And you know who should work on the car? The people that work on the $500,000 cars. All the best talent in the world needs to work for the people.”
Maybe Yeezus had a change of heart? Roommates! Will you be buying?
