Things escalated quickly earlier today at Floyd Mayweather and YouTuber Logan Paul’s press conference for their upcoming boxing match. After the conference, Logan’s brother Jake Paul got in Floyd’s face while he was doing an interview, which upset Floyd. The men began to have a little back and forth disagreement that ended with Jake snatching Floyd’s baseball cap off of his head and running away.
The incident quickly began to circulate online, and shortly after Yaya Mayweather took to her Instagram story in defense of her father. She uploaded a screenshot of her father standing across from Logan during the press conference on the ‘gram with the caption, “Boy you done fu***d up your a*s is going to be laid out on the canvas June 6th.”
It’s no secret that Yaya and Floyd have had a rocky relationship, but since the birth of her son Kentrell Jr., it seems like their family unit has been stronger than ever and they have seemingly left their issues in the past. Although some people agreed with Yaya‘s actions for defending her father, others thought that she needed to have the same energy when it came to her son’s father, NBA YoungBoy, who has disrespected Floyd in the past.
One Roommate commented,” Where was this energy when Youngboy said something?” Another commented, ”She let her whole baby daddy disrespect TF out of her daddy, though.” If you recall, last April, while on Instagram Live, Youngboy called out Kodak Black at the time when he was incarcerated. In the video, he said, “The f*ck a n*gga watching me for? A n***as said I cooperated… About what you stupid b**ch… huh… About my wife? Iyanna get up. Come here. You talking about this girl right here?”
He continued calling out Floyd by saying, “My wife? You talking about my wife… inside my house that I paid for and not her b**ch a** daddy? huh?”
Roomies, do yall think YaYa defending her father was justified?
