Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def is most definitely back in full effect! As y’all know, he had his South Africa mixup that low key, maybe high key lead to the announcement of his retirement. But once he was granted permission to leave the continent, he announced a tour and a collaborative album with Ferrari Sheppard as a duo called Dec 99th.
But is he finished or is he done because now he reportedly has two additional albums completed to be put out.
During his interview on WNL radio, he shares a few details:
“I will be premiering my new album, Negus In Natural Person, and me and Mannie Fresh’s project, which is called As Promised, at The Apollo on Dec. 21.”
