Women Gives Back to Homeless by Restoring Their Self-Confidence

#Roommates, there are truly some amazing people out here, and Shirley Raines is definitely one of them. She gives back to the homeless in a way that’ll truly touch your heart.

She showers the homeless with camping showers, washes and colors their hair, provides makeup, and feeds them. A lot of these individuals are in a rough period in their life and she just wants to help make things a little easier for them.

Shirley said a lot of the women were interested in her hair and makeup and that’s what prompted her to start helping them look their best and feel confident.

“I started feeding the homeless, but more of the women were interested in my hair and makeup and that’s when I realized even homeless women want to feel beautiful. I gave them my hair color, my makeup until friends saw what I was doing and helped me.”

Shirley says she’s out doing her part every Saturday.
