The woman, also 28 and whose identity was not revealed, allegedly severed his penis after he attempted to have sex with her when she was “not in the mood.”
The couple had been in a relationship for around seven months, Sibolga Police Chief Taryono Rajarja said.
“So, they made an appointment to meet at a hotel; then the man asked to have sex, after which the woman refused,” Rajarja added.
“When he was denied sex, the man threatened to spread the videos of their intimate activities.”

The woman has since been arrested but has not been charged as of this article’s publication, with police stating they’re still waiting to interview the boyfriend.

Instances Of Women Severing Men’s Members Rare, But Not Completely Uncommon
Instances of women severing a man’s member are few and far between, but they do occur.
Lorena Bobbitt became a tabloid star after she famously cut off her then-husband John Wayne Bobbitt’s penis in 1993.
She has always maintained that John had raped and abused her, prompting her to cut off his manhood with a kitchen knife as he slept.
In 2019, Lorena said in an interview for the Today show that she had no regrets about the infamous evening.
“How can you regret something that was not planned?” Bobbitt said. “You have to understand, I wasn’t in my right mindset.”
John’s penis was successfully reattached following a 10-hour surgery, and they even went on to have a brief career in porn.
