A woman in the Virginia area has taken it to a new level when it comes to obtaining an iPhone illegally.
According to the New York Post, the police in Alexandria, VA are seeking the identity of a woman who posed as a Target employee so that she could swipe $40,000 worth of iPhones.
The unidentified woman walked into an Alexandria Target on March 15th dressed as an employee. Investigators say the woman was able to gain access to the stock room.
There she placed the iPhones into a box and simply walked out of the store.
Fairfax Country police say that the woman is in no way affiliated with the store, but obviously, she had knowledge of the store’s procedures, employee hours, and where the phones were located in the stock room.
