Carl Crawford’s home became the scene of a fatal double drowning on Saturday. The victims included a woman and a young boy, but unfortunately, they did not make it.
According to TMZ, sources connected to Carl reportedly told the site that he was having a small gathering at his home in Houston of about six people, including the woman and young boy. At one point Carl was inside the home when the young boy reportedly fell into his pool. The woman went in after him, but unfortunately, both suffocated.
The source reportedly added that Carl quickly ran to help by trying to revive them, but it was unsuccessful. According to KHOU11, an emergency crew performed CPR at the scene, and police say that the woman and child passed away at the hospital. The victims have not been identified at the moment.
KHOU11 obtained video footage at the scene where police officers could be seen outside the home, and a man that appears to be Carl can be seen walking inside before the gates of the home are closed.
Those who are familiar with Carl knows that he is a former MLB player, who played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Boston Red Sox and LA Dodgers. He retired as a Dodger back in 2016. He is now the CEO of the independent record label 1501 Certified Ent.
