Looks like Will Smith is missing his humble beginnings in music after he releases his first new song in over 10 years!
The “Getting’ Jiggy with It” rapper has recently collaborated with Latin group, Bomba Estero, on a remix to their song called “Fiesta”. Smith first discovered the group on his recent trip to Colombia and he insisted on being featured on their track! In the song, Smith says, “The track is the heat, I couldn’t let the beat go by without a feature!” This is Smith’s first verse that has beenreleased in probably over 10 years!
Last month, we weren’t sure what Will was up too when he posted a selfie with him and the group congratulating them ontheir nominations with the Latin Grammys and the caption was titled “Felicidades to BOMBA ESTEREO on their Latin Grammy Nominations!”. But now, we know!
Smith might have something cooking for his music fans too though! Rolling Stone reports, earlier this year, while Smith was promoting for his recent project, Focus, he teased about being in the studio with Kanye West. “I went into the studio with Kanye. I’m thinking about it. I’m exploring. I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet, but I’m exploring. I’m in a creative ceiling.”
