Do y’all remember #MadTv? It was one of the few sketch comedy shows in the 90’s and early 2000’s, and #BonQuiQui has remained one of the show’s all-time favorite characters. She was played by comedienne #AnjelahJohnson who would make dramatic situations out of nothing as she took orders as a cashier at King Burger… “where you could have it your way, but don’t get crazy!” as she would say.
Today, Anjelah is married and still touring the world as a comedienne. She starred in the Christian film “The Resurrection of Gavin Stone” earlier this year. She’s always been a woman of faith and explained to Fox News that she’s a Christian, but not a Christian comedienne. “I do a joke in my stand-up where I say I’m a Christian, but I’m not a Christian comedian,” she said. “I think that’s definitely how I see my acting. I’m an actor who happens to be a Christian.”
