If there is one thing we know about Wendy Williams, is that she doesn’t hold back whether someone else’s life is a hot topic, or if she’s the hot topic. Wendy is preparing for the relaease of her Lifetime biopic and documentary, and while promoting the projects, she has been out here keeping it real when it comes to the recent headlines about her life.
On Thursday, she appeared on Fox Soul’s “Out Loud With Claudia Jordan,” and she talked about a variety of things. During the interview, she discussed her deal with Lifetime and revealed that there will be more projects with the network outside of her biopic and documentary. She also revealed that she doesn’t want to daytime television forever, and that she also has an interest in becoming a college communications professor.
As expected Wendy also addressed the recent back and forth between her and her brother Tommy, and she also detailed the altercation that took place at their mother’s funeral service as well.
Wendy said, “My nephew was there with his fiancée and their new baby Bella. Bella is in my nephew fiancée’s arms, next thing I hear the n-word, the f-word, my nephew then calls his uncle the b-word, my mom is laying there in the casket. I went to the back, I went to the last pew where my son was sitting. This was his first death in the family, and he did not want to look at his grandmother, he wanted to be there and he looked very respectful.”
She continued to say that her ex-husband Kelvin (Kevin Hunter) was a big help with de-escalating the altercation between her nephew and brother.
When it came to the recent back and forth between her and her brother Tommy after he alleged that she wasn’t at their mother’s funeral service. She was asked if his actions were for clout and a YouTube show, and Wendy responded, “It’s about get your life together. Go home to your wife and figure out what you do in life. I’m not going to talk bad about him because I’ve got the power, and I know there’s much I can say, but I won’t because poor thing he can use a couch and a box of tissues.”
When speaking about her ex-husband, Wendy said, “I’m not ashamed for staying with Kelvin for 20 years because it took 20 years to plot and have him regret thae day that he met me, and I’m sure that he does, and he’ll never meet a girl like me.”
She was also asked if she met the baby he concieved with his mistress, and Wendy said, “No he’s got one job…keep her off the pole and hopefully she’ll be more educated that her mother and father.”
As previously reported, Wendy gave her ex, his mistress and their daughter a shoutout before getting into her daily hot topics segment on the show.
