During the Grammy’s we found out about a duet planned between The Weeknd and Lauryn Hill, but unfortunately we never got to see it happen that night.
Well dry your eyes cause it finally happened! Last night the pair joined forces on the Tonight Show for a surprise duet of The Weeknd’s “In The Night.”
Lauryn didn’t arrive onstage until halfway through the performance completely surprising the crowd. Hill’s rep released a statement about the Grammy no show saying “The Grammy’s announced a performance by Ms. Lauryn Hill prematurely and without approval.” I guess if no one knew about the surprise it’s wouldn’t have been an issue. Either way, we are happy the two got to perform for their fans!
