Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, and her mother, Tokyo Toni, are celebrating a significant milestone in White’s life. As The Shade Room previously reported, White publicly shared her decision to change her lifestyle in March.
The mother of two revealed that she would remove her breast and butt implants and face filler. Additionally, the 35-year-old even received her honorary doctorate from the Sacramento Theological Seminary & Bible School. Amid those positive updates, White also reconciled with her mother, Toni, after years of public feuding.

Angela White Celebrates One Year Of Sobriety On The Tamron Hall Show
Angela White recently appeared as a guest on the ‘Tamron Hall Show.’ During the episode, the host, Tamron Hall, revealed that White is “celebrating one year of sobriety.”
Hall remarked that she knew “every day” couldn’t have been “easy” for White.
“No, not at all,” the mother of two responded. “Not even a little shot, a little wine, nothing, like nothing…”
Additionally, White explained that “helped” her throughout the journey.
“What helped me was bringing myself down to reality and then realizing, ‘Okay, am I hurting or helping the people around me?’
White explained that she “didn’t want to continue to hurt” the people around her. Additionally, she didn’t want her kids to grow up “seeing” her go through that “stuff.” The mother explained that although adults may often think children are unaware of their parent’s struggles, “they know everything.”
Hall then surprised White by gifting her with a cake and bouquet. Additionally, Hall explained that she had one more surprise for White: her mother, Tokyo Toni.
Tokyo Toni Surprises Her Daughter & Shares Emotional Words Of Reflection
Toni entered the show’s stage carrying a bundle of silver and purple balloons for White, which matched the surprise bouquet and cake. As White embraced her mother for a hug, she began to cry.
As the group sat down, White explained the reason for her tears.
“Because I never thought that I would get to this point,” White said, sobbing.
Toni then shared her sentiments on the evolution of their relationship and her daughter’s personal growth.
“[It feels] kind of surreal,” Toni shared.
White mother explained that raising White as a single mom was “very difficult.” However, seeing her daughter’s “growth” — White being “sober, no makeup, fillers gone” — allows her to see the person that she “birthed, Angela.”
“This is who I birthed… and she has the biggest heart in the world,” she continued.
Toni concluded her statements by explaining that her daughter is a very “beautiful” person.
Last week, Chyna also reflected on the milestone by sharing an Instagram post. In the post’s caption, she explained that her one year of sobriety has taught her “a lot” about herself.
