Monroe and Moroccan Cannon are definitely following in the footsteps of their superstar parents, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey. As The Shade Room previously reported, last December, Carey wowed fans when she and her daughter Monroe took to the stage for their first-ever duet.
Now, the 54-year-old songstress is embarking on her second annual “Merry Christmas One And All” international tour, surprising fans with another special guest.
According to TicketMaster, Carey began her latest tour in Highland, California, on November 15. Her final show is scheduled at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 17.
Thus far, Carey has hit six tour stops. Additionally, the singer is set to perform in Montreal, Canada, on the evening of Wednesday, November 29.
Though fans could have expected to hear Carey’s holiday hits (“All I Want For Christmas Is You” and “Oh Santa!” among the many), concertgoers received a huge surprise when they attended Carey’s Los Angeles tour stop on November 17.
Fan footage shows that Carey’s son Moroccan joined her on stage as she performed ‘Here Comes Santa Clause’ with Jermaine Dupri. Furthermore, the 12-year-old even made his rap debut.

Additionally, Jermaine Dupri shared some behind-the-scenes footage of the performance and tour stop on Instagram.
We must note that Moroccan also took the stage at Carey’s tour stop in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 24, per XXL.
Social media users have now taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their reactions to the 12-year-old’s talents.
We must note Moroccan’s father, Nick Cannon, has also shown off his rap skills during his time in the entertainment spotlight. Cannon has reportedly released multiple musical projects over the course of his stardom, per All Music.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Monroe Cannon made her singing debut alongside her mother last December. At the time, the pair performed in front of a sold-out crowd at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, donning ornate gowns and tiaras.
“This is my baby girl here. Eleven years ago, I got the greatest gift. You know what, I don’t have birthdays, but the birthing day was the greatest gift ever when I had my twins, Roc and Roe,” Carey told the crowd. “This is our first duet… We’ve been working on this for a minute.”
The mother-and-daughter duo sang the Christmas hymn ‘Away in a Manger.’
Furthermore, it appears that Monroe returned to the stage alongside her mother the day after her brother’s rap debut.
