Lamar Odom claims he was drugged by a Nevada brothel owner in his near-death overdose incident back in 2015, and accused the owner of wanting him dead.
Odom said he doesn’t know why Dennis Hof – the late owner of the Love Ranch South – would want to kill him, and added he has no idea how the drugs ended up in his body that infamous night, according to TMZ.
“That punk motherf****er tried to kill me” he told the outlet. “I don’t know (why he wanted to kill me). But I can tell you I didn’t take drugs that night.”
The 43-year-old went on to say that he went to the Pahrump brothel with no drugs, despite waking up with a deadly amount of narcotics in his system.
The former NBA star made the bombshell accusation ahead of a Fox primetime special last night, where he also spoke about doing Khloe Kardashian dirty and wishing he could make things right with his ex-wife.
Odom said on the evening in question, he had one drink upon his arrival at the brothel before waking up three days later in the hospital, with tubes coming out of his body leaving him unable to walk or speak.
“I woke up in the hospital ripping tubes out of my neck, not knowing how I got there.”
When asked if he was positive he didn’t take drugs willingly on the night in question, Odom replied: “as much as I’m positive that I am a Black man sitting in front of you.”
Odom suffered several heart attacks and strokes after he says he unwittingly received a mix of cocaine, alcohol, and a sexual stimulant, leaving him comatose and on life support in a Las Vegas hospital.
In the show, he said Khloe Kardashian was the love of his life and noted he has a lot of regrets, adding that he would like to spend more time with her again in an effort to make things right with her. He also opened up in graphic detail about how the pair’s marriage collapsed.
Odom said he wants to take his ex-wife out to dinner, but “I’m too shy and I’m a Scorpio and I hate being told no or being denied. “I’m afraid,” he went on to tell TMZ.
The former NBA player continued to offer lavish praise for his ex-wife, saying that “marrying Khloe Kardashian gives me relevance in so many ways in the entertainment world.”
“I was an amazing basketball player, but I know me marrying Khloé Kardashian gives me relevance in so many ways in the entertainment world… I knew what I signed up for. I was doing business with my wife. It’s her business, so I’m making it my business…That was the happiest I’ve ever been in my adult life… She got me everything I wanted.”
He added he would “of course” get back together with Kardashian if she ever entertained rekindling their romance, however he no longer feels welcome to reach out to her.
“Do I ever think I could be in love like that again? That could possibly happen…if I open myself up enough,” Odom said in the special. “I’m not a loser and I felt like I lost. I would love to just take Khloé out to dinner…[but] I’m too shy and I’m a Scorpio and I hate being told no or being denied. I’m afraid.”
Odom and Kardashian were married for seven years, from 2009 to 2016, when the pair split amidst rumors of him cheating and addiction issues.
