Looks like history almost had a chance to repeat itself as reports that the Washington D.C. Navy Yard was put on lockdown this morning.
According to CNN, authorities received a call from within the Navy Yard describing of a possible shooting which called for the lockdown as police canvassed the area.
The police were called to building 197 which is the same building where the 2013 Navy Yard shooting took place claiming 12 lives.
Luckily after a thorough investigation, authorities found no eminent danger. A press conference will be held soon to discuss the situation.
