Was That Nicki Minaj Shade, Lil Mama?!

So we’re sure that by now you’ve all heard Lil Mama’s take at Drake’s “4 AM in Calabasas” that she released late Saturday afternoon. But did y’all catch that shade?!

According to her drag session on Twitter, its safe to assume that Lil Mama shaded Nicki Minaj — and the #Barbz aren’t here for it!

The song wasn’t half bad and Lil Mama may have had a fighting chance with certain fans had she not threw that line in there that may have been a shot at Nicki.

“And you is my daughter like I told you before. It’s mamas house like we hitted it raw, and you and got no sons. I be hearing you talk crazy but you really is buns. So when you talk, talk politely. And when you tread, tread lightly cause the ice gettin’ thinner like 6666 it’s gonna’ be a cold winter!”

Now it’s likely that a lot of different people could fit that shoe; however, everyone knows Nicki Minaj coined the “son” phrases and punch lines.

This wouldn’t be Lil Mama’s first jab at Nicki. She ruffled a few feathers on her “Too Fly” a while back:

“If I was born in Trini and moved to the States, with the rage I make I would have got deported,” she spits. “I should punch you in your face for making me grandma. With all these sons and uncle grandpas. And the stunts you be pulling like you bloody, bloody mad ‘Til I smack you in the face while I’m writing these anthems.”

So inquiring minds would like to know was that Nicki Minaj shade on “4PM in Calabasas,” or nah?
