Waka Flocka Flame stirred up some controversy last week after he made some transphobic comments regarding Caitlyn Jenner on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club.
He said that Jenner was “rebuking God”, with her recent transformation. Waka’s words didn’t sit well with a lot of people so he took to Twitter to clarify his statement and apologize….. Well sort of.
He came on to apologize for his misuse of the word “evil” and that’s about it. Waka clearly states that he has nothing against transgender people but is standing firm on the issue, saying that his beliefs stem from his role as a father.
“Im not a fan of transgenders marketed like superheros”, he tweeted. He feels as if the world should be careful with what is sensationalized for the children’s sake.
While some may still be mad at Waka, he makes it clear that he doesn’t have to be politically correct because he is not a politician and ended it all off with #WakaForPrez
