A circulating video shows ex-NFL player Zac Stacy brutally attacking a woman by slamming and punching her. The woman beaten, identified as his ex-girlfriend by TMZ, seems to be who posted the abusive videos. Kris Evans is the name listed on the account. At the time, the Instagram page only had one post, which featured three clips of the attack.
“PLEASE GET THIS MAN BEHIND BARS,” Kris Evans allegedly wrote. “THIS IS ME AND MY SON’S FATHER. He is a former NFL running back Zac Stacy, played for Vanderbilt. Please help me get justice.”
An infant child lay just a few feet crying — occasionally crying throughout the violence. His mother is slammed into objects in a living room area, including a television and baby bouncer.
Per TMZ, the incident occured at the ex-girlfriend’s home this past Saturday. Apparently, Zac became angry during an argument. He slapped, punched and launched the woman across the space, despite her pleas for him to stop and listen. After the beating, Zac leaves the home and tells his son “I love you” on the way out. She reportedly called the police immediately after Zac left and filed a restraining order.
In the paperwork, she described feeling fear for her and her children’s lives. At a nearby hospital, she received treatment for possible head wound, bumps and bruises.
In the caption of her original post, she says that Zac is evading police.
“He is currently fleeing from Florida aggravated assault charges in Nashville, Tennessee,” she wrote.
According to Bleacher Report, Zac completed three NFL seasons after some time at Vanderbilt University. He played for the St. Louis Rams and New York Jets between 2013-2015. In 2019, he joined the Memphis Express team to play for the Alliance of American Football league.
This is a developing story.
