Quality time is something that we all need with our significant other. While bathing together on a regular basis may be a bit too much for some, Viola and her man , Julius Tennon, keep the intimacy in their marriage with two daily baths.
In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, Viola stated, “We have together time every single morning when we get in the jacuzzi and we have together time every night ’cause we get in the tub together.”
The busy couple takes their time and soaks in the tub. Sometimes the hubby even falls asleep. “And we soak in the tub and we talk. Sometimes he falls asleep with his mouth open!”
The two maximize their time together, “I give him facials,” Davis says. “And we just chat, chat, chat, and he’s just really sweet. Every single day we do that.”
“Every day is like a date,” she added.
Most recently, Viola Davis’ Vanity Fair cover made history this past summer. The cover was shot by Dario Calmese, who has become the first black photographer to shoot a Vanity Fair cover.
The photo of Viola shows her wearing a gorgeous blue dress that shows her bare back. According to The Hill, the image is meant to channel the slave portraits taken by Louis Agassiz in the 1880s, in which they were photographed with their backs towards the camera showing off their scars.
Calmese said, “This image reclaims that narrative, transmuting the white gaze on Black suffering into the Black gaze of grace, elegance, and beauty.”
In 2016, the couple renewed their marriage vows. They have been married for 17 years and share a daughter together.
This is what love looks like! We love it!
