(Video) NYPD Arrested Protestors And Put Them On A City Bus–BUT The Bus Driver Refused To Drive Them To Jail

On Friday, protests broke out all over the country, after the arrest of Derek Chauvin, ex-officer who is charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the death of George Floyd. In Brooklyn, protests went from peaceful to chaotic, which resulted in protestors being arrested and loaded onto a city bus; however, according to Shaun King, the bus driver, in solidarity, refused to drive it.

In the video below, Shaun King posted to Instagram and wrote,

“NYPD loaded up protestors they arrested in Brooklyn onto this city bus. The bus driver, in solidarity, refused to drive it.”

As the crowd cheers with signs, you can see someone with a mask on their face who appears to be the bus driver, get up from the driver’s seat and stand up on the bus.

The video doesn’t show what happens next, but it is clear that this driver was not going to be responsible for carrying protestors who were demanding justice to jail.

According to @dailynews, the family of George Floyd has  hired former NYC medical examiner Michael Baden to perform a private autopsy.

During a press conference, #BenjaminCrump stated, “We’ve just spoken recently with [the] district attorney. We’re going to take custody back of #GeorgeFloyd’s body, and we’re bringing in Dr. Michael Baden to perform an independent autopsy because we saw in the #EricGarner case and so many other cases where they have these people who work with the city come up with things that are such an illusion.”

As you know, George Floyd died, during an arrest, on Monday. A 17-year-old filmed the incident and posted the video, in which it went viral.
