Sis may be in hot water after reports say Venus Williams was named as the cause of a car crash which ended in someone losing their life.
According to TMZ, Venus was involved in a car accident where a 78-year-old man was sent to the ICU and eventually succumbed to his injuries and died 14 days later. The driver, Jerome Barson, suffered a head injury and was placed in ICU. Barson unfortunately, never made it out of the ICU and died. His wife, who was also present during the time of the crash was also taken to the hospital with broken bones and other nonlife-threatening injuries.
According to the police report, “[Venus] is at fault for violating the right of way of [the other driver].” The police report also states there was no evidence Venus was under the influence or distracted by an electronic device.
