Details On Teyana Taylor & Iman Shumpert’s Divorce Is Reportedly Revealed
On Tuesday, June 24, theJasmineBRAND published an exclusive update regarding the pair. The outlet reported that a judge in Fulton County finalized Taylor and Shumpert’s divorce that same day. To note, although theJasmineBRAND did not explicitly cite the state the pair’s divorce was filed, TMZ previously reported that the filing was made in Georgia.
According to the outlet, the Fulton County judge ruled that Taylor will “retain four key marital properties.” The properties are reportedly worth an estimated $10 million.
Meanwhile, the judge reportedly ruled that Shumpert will retain ownership of his condo in Miami and two compound properties in Georgia.
The Former NBA Baller Will Reportedly Make A Hefty Payment To His Ex-Wife
The outlet adds that Shumpert has been ordered to make a “one-time 7-figure payment” to his ex-wife. However, the outlet did not disclose the exact figure.
In addition, Shumpert will reportedly pay Taylor $8,000 monthly in child support for their daughters Rue and Junie. Furthermore, the former NBA baller is reportedly responsible for covering “100%” of his daughter’s “private school fees.”
Lastly, the outlet adds that Taylor “has been awarded” a series of vehicles, including “a Maybach, a Mercedes Sprinter, a tour bus, and her prized Bronco truck.” The singer will also reportedly retain “100% ownership of her companies, Taylormade and Auntie’s.”
Meanwhile, Shumpert “will keep all his Shumpert Shump investments,” which reportedly boasts a “diverse portfolio spanning across various sectors.”
Here’s What Recently Went Down In The Pair’s Divorce
As The Shade Room previously reported, Taylor filed for divorce from Shumpert in January 2023. Afterward, their legal proceedings appeared to heat up as allegations flew of Shumpert allegedly endangering and neglecting Taylor and their daughters.
Shumpert denied the allegations of endangerment. However, the pair’s legal proceedings appeared to remain contentious as Taylor eventually accused Shumpert of letting his new love life negatively impact their daughters, per The Shade Room.
Earlier this month, Shumpert reportedly requested that his child support to Taylor remain at $8,000 a month. At the time, the former NBA baller alleged Taylor now earns double his monthly income, per The Shade Room.
On June 21, TMZ reported that the judge had given the former couple a deadline of June 27 to submit their final divorce settlement.
