After appearing on the Breakfast Club and saying Kanye West’s messages are “misconstrued,” Diddy seems to have had a change of heart and now disproves of the ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirt Kanye introduced during Paris Fashion Week.
When asked his stance, Diddy stated:
My boy is a super, super, super free thinker,” Diddy said. “And a lot of times, what he means is, like, misconstrued, you know what I’m saying? I understand white lives do matter, but it’s not that.
He continued:
[‘Black Lives Matter’] was our slogan. That wasn’t our slogan to go share with nobody else … Because right now, we’re the ones that are dying, that are incarcerated, that are left in poverty.
Diddy Makes It Clear He Doesn’t Support ‘White Lives Matter’ Tees
It appears Diddy has a different take on the situation. Taking to Instagram, the 52-year-old stated:
I don’t rock with it. I’m not with it.
He continued to say that the “hat the press and what fashion is doing, thinking this is a joke.”
The mogul also told stated:
Don’t wear the shirt, don’t buy the shirt, don’t play with the shirt. It’s not a joke.
Kanye’s Fashion Show at Paris Fashion Week
At Kanye’s show, he was seen sitting on the floor with a shirt with the phrase on the back.
The father of four was also seen in a photo with Republican commentator Candace Owens wearing the same shirt.
Both posts garnered over 17,000 comments collectively. Real Housewives Of Potomac star Dr. Wendy Osefo stepped in, writing, “All skin folk ain’t kinfolk!!!”
