Tyrese is going viral after speaking on Diddy and sharing why he won’t be making a “mockery” of what’s happening to the music mogul.
On Wednesday, March 27, Tyrese took to Instagram to share a reel that featured a photo of Diddy. As the clip played, it was followed by a video of a speech from Minister Louis Farrakhan.
“When you see men fall, don’t laugh. Learn,” Minster Farrakhan says in the clip. “Learn. Because you’re on your way up and the things that tempt people to fall, you and I are not free from that temptation. Nor from the weakness that will cause us to stumble and fall. When you laugh at somebody else’s fall… you’re laughing and opening a way for your own demise… because to laugh and not learn is to make the same mistake…”
Additionally, Tyrese shared a lengthy caption alongside the reel. In the text, he explained that he can’t “downplay the laughter, the fun, the energy, the inspiration, the award shows the studio sessions the most legendary parties and events” that he experienced through Diddy and Bad Boy.
The singer explained that he doesn’t “support abuse, bullying sexual assault or anything that is currently being alleged” against Diddy. However, what he can’t do is “turn the blinds on how much this [man] mean[s] to me and all of us, and what he has done for the community of music and culture.”
“Don’t worry I’m the only one crazy enough to jump out there and say what most of you want to say but you don’t have the balls to do so because it’s very normal for people to be going through a rough patch and we all sit back and make a mockery of it but I’m not gonna do that,” he continued. “i’m praying for Diddy his kids, his family, his mother, and all of the alleged victims that’s in the middle of trying to simply have their voices to be heard. I love this brother he’s been nothing but kind and generous towards me and that’s the way I feel praying and praying for more of a better outcome of all of this is happening…”
Before ending his caption, Tyrese shared a direct message for Diddy.
“God bless you Diddy if you ever need to call me and just need a listening here I’m right here bro…..” he wrote.
