It seems like many feel this one was long overdue. Tyler Perry made things real official in Hollywood today when he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
Tyler was recognized for the media mogul.he is today and the empire he’s built, which employs many Black actors as well as Black people behind the scenes.
Tyler was joined by good friends Idris Elba, Kerry Washington and Crystal Fox during today’s ceremony. All three gave impassioned speeches about Tyler which clearly moved him. Tyler shared this pic of the ceremony along with this reflection:
Congrats to Tyler for all the work he’s put in to achieve what he has. His star has certainly been earned!
