Rapper Tyga has reportedly landed himself in some hot water when it comes to missed payments on luxury vehicles. According to The Blast, the 33-year-old has been sued for not paying outstanding balances on a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador. And a 2014 Bentley Mulsanne.
According to legal documents obtained by the outlet, Choice Motors Credit is demanding the rapper pay the full balance on both vehicles. Tyga reportedly owes over six figures in initial payments. And the company would also like for the interest incurred on both vehicles to be paid off as well.
For the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador, $390,000 is reportedly due. But when interest is added, the payment shoots up to $1,085,421.63. For the 2014 Bentley Mulsanne, $255,950.52 is reportedly due. But the outlet has not disclosed the additional interest.
According to The Blast, Tyga reportedly owes the company a total of $1,345,265.52.
According to the outlet, Tyga went through a similar issue in 2021, when both his Ferrari and Rolls Royce were taken away after “failing to make payments.” This lawsuit was filed by Midway Rent A Car. And the company alleged that the rapper owed “a total of $127,789.73 over luxury automobiles he leased from them in 2015.”
Additionally, Tyga also ran into an issue with the home-staging company Showroom Interiors in 2021. The company alleged that they provided “design, decorating, delivery, installation, and rental of furniture and other goods” for the artist. And two years later, still hadn’t been paid.
According to the contract, Tyga had the staging down for his home in Los Angeles. And the total bill for the alleged 4-bedroom space came to $84,000.
$5k for installation, $10k security deposit plus $69k for a six-month rental of the furniture.
The Blast reports that Tyga refused to satisfy the amount. And Showroom Interiors took legal action, seeking an additional $27,000 in interest charges.
According to VIBE, the “Rack City” rapper was also sued by a former landlord in 2018. The landlord accused the rapper of “trashing his residence and not paying rent in over a year.”
