When it rains, it definitely pours and it looks like R. Kelly has now found himself without a crisis manager as he continues to sit behind bars.
According to CBS News, R. Kelly’s crisis manager, Darrell Johnson announced that he would be stepping down from his role Monday night. He said to the news outlet, “I step down as crisis manager for personal reasons. Mr. Kelly is in good hands with Mr. Greenberg,” referring to Steve Greenberg, the head of R. Kelly’s legal team.
Darrell’s exit from his position comes after he appeared on “CBS This Morning,” where he told Gayle King that he would not leave his daughter around an accused pedophile.
In a clip that we posted earlier, he said, “I would not leave my daughter with anyone that’s accused of being a pedophile. I would not.”
Interesting enough, Robin made an account to point out that he was helping to defend R. Kelly, who has been accused of being a pedophile.
As we previously reported, R. Kelly was arrested in Chicago on sex trafficking charges.
Check out what Darrell had to say earlier during his interview:
