#TSRUpdatez: Nicole Murphy Now Apologizing For Kissing Married Director Antoine Fuqua

TSR Updatez: Chile, Nicole Murphy is singing a different tune than that “family friend” explanation she used after getting caught smacking lips with married director Antoine Fuqua.

Sis initially said the kiss, which happened over the weekend while vacationing in Italy, was a “friendly hello.” Now in a statement to @tmz_tv, Nicole has another version of what happened and she’s apologizing to Antoine’s wife, actress Lela Rochon.

“Without going into the entire situation, I want to apologize to my family, and to Lela and the Fuqua family for what transpired,” Nicole said. “It was not my intention to be in this situation. I do not condone women kissing or interacting in anyway inappropriately with a married man. I too was once married and I would never intentionally undermine another woman, despite what has been written.”

When she was asked why she kissed Antoine, Nicole explained she thought that the status of he and Lela’s relationship was over.

Antoine and Lela have been married since 1999.
Sources told TMZ that Nicole was under the impression that Antoine was divorced, and that’s why they were all up on each other the way they were.
Nicole reportedly feels terrible about this and hopes people can forgive her for the mistake.
It’s unclear if Nicole was actually told by Antoine that he was single but it appears he’s not saying much on the matter, leaving Nicole to only explain things on her part.
One of the last times Antoine was photographed with his wife in a public setting was last summer, when they both showed up in front of cameras shoulder-to-shoulder for an event.
It is possible that they have separated since then, but there’s no indication that’s true. Lela also posted her and Antoine on IG back in February. They share two children together, who are in their teens.
