Judge Mathis told ya’ll that he didn’t do anything wrong regarding the claims that he allegedly spit in the face of a valet attendant who took too long with his car. Apparently, authorities agree because now he’s officially in the clear.
Last week reports were piling up alleging that popular TV personality Judge Mathis had spit in the face of a valet attendant after the two had an intense verbal altercation. Well, according to TMZ (@tmz_tv) Mathis can breathe a sigh of relief because he won’t be facing any charges stemming from the incident.
As it turns out, the valet who initially claimed that Mathis spit on him twice has had a change of heart—and decided not to press any charges. This is an interesting turn of events because the valet originally wanted a DNA test to prove Mathis spit on him. He also previously filed a police report for assault, while his legal team claimed there were at least 2 witnesses who could back up his claims.
The police have made multiple attempts to contact the valet and follow up with the case, but have been unable to reach him. Since they don’t have cooperation from the valet, they can’t move forward with a case against Mathis.
At time, Judge Mathis has not publicly responded to this latest development.
