Yesterday, we reported that Drake hinted that he may be doing a Las Vegas residency, and it looks like those frequent performances in Las Vegas may be true.
According to The Blast, Drizzy secured millions of dollars for a residency at one of Las Vegas’ hottest clubs. Sources reportedly revealed to the site that Drake has agreed to a multi-year deal, with a minimum 10-show commitment at XS Nightclub inside the Wynn casino and hotel.
The deal reportedly guarantees Drake more than $10 million.
As we previously reported, he hinted at the residency when he reportedly told the crowd at XS Nightclub, “Vegas! When I came back, I thought it’d be back at T-Mobile Arena or some (stuff), but I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lot of chances to see me.”
He dropped another hint when he posted a photo of himself performing at the club, with the caption “New home.”
At the moment it’s unclear when tickets will go on sale, but an official announcement is reportedly coming soon.
Some other big musical acts to score big with their own residencies in Las Vegas include Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, and many others.
