#ClevelandBrowns football player #KareemHunt has reportedly been suspended for eight games due to two violent attacks.
According to @tmz_tv, Kareem allegedly violated the league’s personal conduct policy from two violent incidents.
On February 10, 2018, video captured Kareem shoving and kicking a woman at a Cleveland hotel. Cops investigated the scene, Kareem denied getting violent, and he was not arrested. At the time, Kareem was on the #KansasCityChiefs team, but they decided to let him go once surveillance footage was released of him clearly shoving a woman. They claimed Kareem lied to them about his behavior, and that was not acceptable. Kareem was later signed by the Cleveland Browns.
Kareem reportedly sought treatment for anger management and substance abuse issues following that incident. He was then accused in another case for getting violent with a man in June 2018, at an Ohio resort. He allegedly got into an argument with the man, and punched him in the face.
The NFL allegedly investigated both incidents, and they stated that they were “reviewing available law enforcement records, video and electronic communications, interviews with numerous witnesses, and multiple reviews with Hunt.”
Kareem recently spoke on the incident, and has owned up to his wrongdoings stating, “I respect the league’s decision on discipline, and I appreciate the time I spent with Commissioner Goodell last week.” He then went on to say that he has committed to earning the trust of his teammates and community as he is aware that “there is a lot of hard work ahead of me before I’m able to fully return to playing the game I love.”
As of now he is suspended from the Cleveland Browns football team. We will keep you guys updated.
