Earlier this year we reported that YouTuber Chris Sails was ordered to stay off all social media platforms, including the one he uses to make his money, while he is out on bond in the case accusing him of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Parker McKenna.
Now Chris is asking that a judge let him back on social media as he accuses the court of messing with his money.
In the court documents obtained by The Blast, Chris is requesting that the ban on using social media be lifted by the court. He says that the order is violating his freedom of speech and stopping “his regular source of income which also prohibits the Defendant to adequately provide for his son.”
He says that he has a contract with a third party that requires him to make posts to social media. He also promises not to make any posts about his ex Parker, while the case continues.
At the moment a judge has yet to rule on his request.
As we previously reported, we exclusively broke the story about Chris’ arrest regarding the September 10th incident. That was when Parker claims Chris attacked her during an argument over a dude being in her DMs.
Parker told authorities that Chris repeatedly abused her and they were able to find out that she had suffered abrasions consistent with being strangled around her neck. It was also noted she suffered from a black eye, swollen face and multiple dark bruises.
