#Roommates, congratulations are in order as it looks like #TigerWoods is back to his winning ways. After a five-year drought, Tiger has just won his 80th PGA Tour championship! It’s been 1,876 days since Tiger has won a pro event. The last event he won was the 2013 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. This win for Tiger wasn’t only a win on the golf course but a much-needed win in his life.
It’s no secret Tiger has had a few issues over the past 5 years #Roommates. He split from his wife, had a few run-ins with law enforcement, has been in and out of court mandated rehab and finally had spinal fusion surgery. But regardless of his trials and tribulations it looks like Tiger is building himself to be what he once was, a golf powerhouse.
In his greenside interview after his big win, Tiger said: “I was having a hard time not crying coming up the last hole.” He elaborated on how he felt about the huge win, saying: “This one is going to be up there as one my better accomplishments, considering where I’ve been.”
As of now, we don’t know what’s next for Tiger. But we do know this win could be a start to many great things in his future. Congratulations to Tiger and his team! Hopefully this is just the beginning for him!
