#Roommates, there’s some good news for NBA fans, specifically fans of the Golden State Warriors. After sitting out the season for several months since last year—reportedly NBA star Steph Curry is set to return to the court…and a lot sooner than you think.
Last year Golden State Warrior fans were devastated when star player Steph Curry suffered a broken hand, resulting in him playing just four games of the current NBA season. Many assumed that Golden State’s chances to return to the NBA Championships were over—but some good news about Steph may just change that. @HNHH_Official reports, that following his most recent hand surgery on November 1st, Steph is reportedly set to make his official return on March 1st.
Steph is gearing to hit the court just after the NBA’s All Star break, specifically during Golden State’s home game against the Washington Wizards. Steph, a two-time MVP, was thought to miss the rest of the 2019-2020 season, but luckily that has changed.
Speaking about his progress, Steph recently gave this update:
“Rehab is going great, every day is tough. When you’re hurt, and we’ve all been there in some way shape or form, it’s a grind, everyday kind of being monotonous with the little strength workouts you have to do, and you understanding that it takes time and patience to get back to 100 percent.”
The Golden State Warriors currently hold the worst record in the NBA with 10-34. For those keeping score, that puts them 11 games back of the Memphis Grizzlies for the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
