#TSRPositiveImages: It’s #TSRBlackGirlMagicMondayz and 17-year-old Jasmine Harrison from North Carolina has us all saying YASSSSS! Sis was accepted to 113 colleges and was awarded more than $4.5 million in merit-based scholarships! If that’s not #GOALS then we don’t know what is!
According to CBS, she was awarded full rides to three schools and ultimately chose to attend Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, NC!
She definitely used her time wisely during the application process. Harrison applied to 53 HBCUs with just one Common Black College Application. She also applied to 20 universities at once with the Common Application, and to multiple North Carolina schools for free during the College Foundation of North Carolina College Application Week.
She plans to study Biology at Bennett College, where she received a full ride, and as dreams of becoming a NICU nurse.
