#Roommates, though #LeBronJames is on track to be considered one of the greatest players in basketball history, he’s making sure his legacy on the court is just as important as the legacy he has off the court.
According to @ESPN, LeBron has opened a public school in his hometown of #Akron, OH, where 240 at-risk students can attend school and be given an opportunity to thrive despite difficult family and life situations. The school opened today and is called #IPromiseSchool (#IPS).
The idea of the school is modeled around LeBron’s early childhood where he missed much of the fourth grade because of his living conditions. In a video he empathizes with the kids and expresses how he understands creating a safe haven for kids can completely change the course of their lives.
We can’t say enough how amazing this is #Roommates! Congrats to LeBron and his team!
