When it comes to a good meal, you can’t help but add fried Chicken into the equation. It doesn’t matter if you cook it on the stove or in the air fryer. It always hits– as long as it’s seasoned up real good, you can’t go wrong. When I cook mine, I like to pair it up with some spaghetti, macaroni, and cheese, or whatever side I prefer and a good beverage. When it comes to Chicken, the innanet has discovered a Charleston, South Carolina company that makes you take a second look at the loved food.
Yesterday a photo went viral on Twitter showing an ice cream bar that looked like a piece of fried chicken. Many were shocked, amazed, and left wondering what the ice cream bar actually tastes like. Pastry Chef, Chef Cynthia Wong is behind “Life Raft Treats,” which sells the “NOT FRIED CHICKEN” ice cream bar. Now, this is the kicker, according to their website, the ice cream is described as waffle ice cream, chocolate-covered cookie “bone,” caramelized white chocolate, and crushed cornflakes. So if you are interested in trying it out, you’re in luck because it only looks like chicken.
If you were planning on walking into the grocery store and grabbing some today, you might want to pump your breaks because the interesting snack isn’t available everywhere as of just yet. If you live in Charleston, you can get the ice cream bar from their food truck, but you can order online if you’re not in the area. They have a partnership with Goldbelly that allows customers to place orders nationwide. However, if you live in the greater NYC area, Philadelphia, or Washington DC, you can order through Fresh Direct. A bucket of chicken with 9 pieces of Ice Cream will run you $99, and for a jumbo bucket with 20 pieces, it costs $149. Roommates, would you spend that amount of money on to try out the ice cream bar?
