TSRExclusive: Guess Who Will Be On Lala Anthony’s New Show “Goal Diggers” Alongside Timbaland !

Hey Roomies, If you’ve been following Lala Anthony’s journey, then you know that she has been working hard to make it as an actress. In the past six years alone, the DJ and business woman has had a great run with #LalasFullCourtLife as well as her secured roles on projects like the Think Like A Man series and lets not forget her current role as Lakeisha on 50 Cent’s #Power.

While her achievements are great thus far, everyone knows that the real power is in production. Back in 2011, Anthony told NY Daily News that she sees herself “stepping more heavily into the producing world,” because she likes “having that control, and being in control so to speak, and being part of picking great material and bringing it to life.” That is why she has teamed up with iconic producer, #Timbaland to bring a new project tentatively called “Goal Diggers” to life and you’re gonna gag when you see who is on the show!

“I’m thrilled to be executive producing a project that offers a true insider’s look into the business side of hip hop, especially one that explores the lives of fascinating women who have used hip hop as their platform to become successful entrepreneurs in fashion, music and more,” said Anthony.

A source tells us that the show is set in New York City and the cast consists of Drake’s rumored ex-boo/ model Bernice Burgos, DJ and Ciroc girl Kyra Chaos, model Graciii3 and model Amina Blue. You might recognize Blue from Tyga’s recently released video, “1 of 1.” The rapper received a lot of backlash for including the German-Pakistani woman as his love interest while the video was filmed in Jamaica. To add insult to injury, she wore bantu knots in her hair.

According to Deadline, the project will be centered around the famous Face Time Agency. If you don’t know, Face Time is responsible for casting music videos as well as fashion models in hip hop. Some of their clients include Drake, Kanye West and Robin Thicke. Anthony and Timbaland will be teaming up with Leftfield Entertainment for the project as well.

“La La and Timbaland are perfect examples David George 2of what can be achieved when talent, determination and creativity collide with entrepreneurship,” said Leftfield Entertainment CEO David George. “We’re thrilled to be in business with these two entertainment innovators to create a series that uncovers a unique, rarified faction of hip hop and provides a true soundtrack for the unpredictable journey toward fame and fortune.

This sounds like it’s shaping up to be a pretty juicy project! The ladies are all trying to extend their careers, so it should be good.

Congratulations, Lala & Timbaland!
