Congrats are in order to Too Short, as it looks like he is now a father to an adorable baby girl.
According to TMZ, sources close to Too Short reportedly revealed that he welcomed his baby girl back in December with his on-again, off-again girlfriend Sue Ivey, and they named her Yanni Shaw.
Sources also revealed that he is currently filming a documentary with Ray J and his manager David Weintraub about raising their baby girls while in Hollywood.
Last year, during an interview with DJ Vlad Too Short, talked about reaching his 50’s without welcoming any children. He revealed that he has gotten some of his ex’s pregnant in the past, unfortunately, those pregnancies ended with abortion or miscarriage.
He said, “I looked at where I was at in life, and I made a decision to myself in my mid-20’s that I just didn’t want to be a baby daddy. I was having fun, I didn’t really want the responsibility of being this party guy, who got a family and I’m at a tug-of-war.”
He also mentioned that he was taken to court a few times for being accused of fathering children that weren’t actually his.
At the time, he said, “I do have intentions of having a family in the future. I changed my outlook.”
