#Roommates, a passenger by the name of #RyanCarneyWilliams took saving his coins to a whole new level after he was kicked off his flight for wearing all of his clothes to avoid excessive baggage fees!
According to @People, Williams purchased a ticket that only specified he had a carry-on, but tried to board with an oversized bag. When he was stopped, he put on most of the clothes in his suitcase so he could avoid the additional baggage fees.
Williams claims employees of the airline said it was fine for him to do so, but later refused to let him board the plane. In a statement British Airways said: “We give our customers a wide range of fares to choose from to meet their needs. We explained our policy to the customer, and offered him an alternative flight to London.”
Williams however says he was being racially profiled and not being able to board had nothing to do with his clothes and everything to do with his skin color.
I think the lesson in all of this is, make sure you pay for your baggage fees before you go to the airport roomies!
