TSR Updatez: Two Suspects Charged With Robbery & Hate Crime Against Three Transgender Women

Two men have officially been charged with robbery and hate crime for assaulting three women in Hollywood last month, as we previously reported.

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s announced that Carlton Alexander Callaway of Compton faces one felony count each of grand theft from the person of another, second-degree robbery, criminal threats, attempted second-degree robbery, assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury and battery with serious bodily injury, according to a press release.

Davion Anthony Williams of Compton faces one felony count each of grand theft and assault with a deadly weapon, rideshare scooter. If convicted, Callaway faces up to 13 years in state prison, and Williams faces up to eight years.

As we previously reported, the August incident took place in Hollywood. Eden Estrada, Joslyn Allen and Jaslene Busanet were waiting for their Uber when the suspect in question offered to buy them items from a clothing store. Apparently when he refused to pay and the women left, he allegedly became upset and began harassing the women until things took a violent turn. According to police, witnesses said he then allegedly assaulted the second victim with a bottle, ultimately knocking her to the ground.

Joslyn recorded the incident and the video went viral and police were able to respond accordingly.
