The Jamaican dancehall legend who is also known for his famed roles in the films “Belly” and “Shottas” passed away after being involved in a car crash in Canada on Monday.
There weren’t too many details about the crash but celebrities seemed to confirm Rankin’s death by sharing their condolences on social media.
DJ Khaled, who featured Rankin as his “Belly” character Ox in the music video for his song “Nas Album Done,” also took to IG to express his condolences for his beloved friend.
Nas also posted a memory of him and Rankin.
