TSR Positive Images: Although many may say Kodak Black may be misguided at times, theres no denying the positive acts of service he tries to do for his community. Just last year he dropped $10,000 on a non-profit provider of early childhood education right when he got out of jail. He also donated Christmas toys to 150 kids during the holidays.
Now, 14-year-old Paige Cook has been trying to get at least 7600 notebooks for all the students in the Cleburne Independent School District in Texas.
According to TMZ, Kodak Black came through and dropped $12,500 on the notebooks himself. This school district is reportedly filled with a majority of low-income students, so this is definitely a win for the students, the faculty members, and their families.
We’re glad to see Kodak still trying to make a positive impact where he can as he’s been caught up in quite a bit of ‘drama’ lately. He’s currently in a beef with TI that stemmed from what people feel was a disrespectful comment he made regarding Lauren London right after the untimely passing of her love Nipsey Hussle.
Kodak and TIP went back and forth at each other on social media–including dropping diss bars at each other in their music. As of late, Kodak has been removed from the Atlanta Trap Museum that is partly owned by TI.
In addition to that, he had a run in with the law not too long ago at the U.S. border where he was arrested on drugs and weapons charges.
He was then held in police custody and eventually bailed out on a $20,000 cash bond.
On the brighter side of it all, peep his new hairdo below!
