Y’all remember Oatmeal Creme Pies, #Roomies? Well, that Little Debbie sweetness will now be a cereal. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the snack, Kellogg’s has decided to turn the dessert into breakfast sweets described as “crispy oatmeal puffs with a creme coating.”
With a pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of molasses with sweetly coated, creme-flavored frosting, you get Kellogg’s Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies Cereal.
The cereal will be here just in time for the holidays, as the new cereal will be released in December.
Other companies are also introducing new food as well.
According to reports, McDonald’s is coming out with a spicy version of their chicken nuggets, a new dipping sauce, and a new McFlurry.
Starting Sept 16th, Spicy Chicken McNuggets will be available at all McDonald’s locations throughout the United States but for a limited time only.
Made with the same white-meat chicken that folks love now, the Spicy Chicken McNuggets are breaded in tempura coating that has a bit of cayenne and chili pepper, according to a press release.
It appears that Mickey D’s is really trying to do an upgrade. The company is also releasing a new sauce for the first time in three years. The Mighty Hot Sauce is coming with that heat, baabbiiieee! It’s reported that the sauce will contain a little razzle dazzle of spicy chilies and crushed red pepper flakes. It’s also said to be their spiciest flavor yet.
There will also be Candy Corn Bacon. According to reports, the candy corn comes in six classic Thanksgiving flavors: green beans, roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, ginger glazed carrot, sweet potato pie, and stuffing. Thankfully, all those flavors aren’t mixed in one piece of candy corn, but in each individual piece instead.
The Thanksgiving candy corn comes in different colors that coordinate with the flavor, such as green for green beans and brown for roasted turkey. The unique, sweet and savory candy has already been spotted at select stores.
