Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Pete Davidson traveled out of their home states to have a fancy first public outing together. The Kardashians star, 41, and King of Staten Island actor, 28, were among a star-studded crowd who gathered at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Sunday.
They attended the 23rd Annual Mark Twain Prize for Humor presentation, where comedian Jon Stewart was honored.
Photos showed Kim wearing a black gown with a modest neckline. Her back appeared to be out as the dress, with shiny details, revealed her shoulder. Pete complimented her refined look with an all-black attire. The Sun says the couple reportedly sat next to The Office star Steve Carell. Other famous attendees included Dave Chappelle, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Olivia Munn, Ed Helms, and Bruce Springsteen.
This occasion marks the first time outsiders have seen Kardashian and Davidson paired up for a date night publicly; they were also at The Kardashians premiere in Los Angeles earlier this month but skipped out on posing for the red carpet photographers together. Kim and Pete have been officially dating since November 2021.
Kim took a nice break to be with her boyfriend cross-country amid her family’s current legal battle with Blac Chyna in Los Angeles. The Kardashians have spent the last week in L.A. court with Rob Kardashian’s ex and mother to Dream Kardashian, Kris’ only grandchild to carry their family name.
Last Thursday, Kris took the stand and claimed that Chyna threatened to kill her youngest daughter Kylie Jenner over her issues with rapper Tyga. Kris made the claim after Chyna alleged she interfered with her with the E! contract for her reality show Rob & Chyna.
Chyna is seeking $60 Million in damages. The court case is still ongoing.
