Trump’s Press Secretary Said Floor Coverings Of The Grass Gave The Illusion Of Showing A Small Crowd At The Inauguration

They say a picture tells a thousand words #Roommates! By now I’m sure most of you have seen the side by side pictures of Obama and Trump’s inauguration crowds. It was pretty clear from the photo’s that Trump wasn’t able to pack the house like Obama, and it looks like Trump may be a little salty over it.

President Donald Trump’s press secretary slammed the media for circulating what he called “inaccurate tweets and reporting size” of the number of people who came out to watch Trump get sworn in. He claims that some photos were “intentionally framed” to make Trump look bad.

“This is the first time in our nation’s history that floor coverings have been used to protect the grass on the Mall,” Spicer said. He claimed that the floor coverings “had the effect of highlighting areas people were not standing whereas in years past the grass eliminated this visual.”

It looks like the press secretary should have done his research because according to CNN, floor coverings were used at Obama’s 2013 inauguration.

“This was also the first time that fencing and magnetometers went as far back on the Mall, preventing hundreds of thousands of people from being able to access the Mall as quickly as they had in inaugurations past,” Spicer said.

A United States Secret Service spokesperson spilled tea to CNN that no magnetometers were used at the mall!

President Trump just hold this L.
