Jordan Craig is typically hush-hush about her co-parenting experience with Tristan Thompson. The former couple share one son, Prince Oliver, whom they welcomed in December 2016. But on Thursday, Craig’s sister gave the public some insight into Tristan’s involvement in her nephew’s life.
Kai Craig took to Instagram to expose Thompson’s alleged limited financial assistance and quality time with Prince. Her three-paragraph slam comes after Hulu aired a new episode of “The Kardashians” on Thursday, in which Kim Kardashian openly praised her niece’s father for his friendship and fatherhood.
“It has been so hard to refrain from speaking up, and out of respect for my sister’s privacy, I haven’t for over 7 years, but this is just too much. It’s so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to do these nice things for others but can’t seem to show up and be a real parent for my nephew Prince,” Kai Criag wrote. “The fact that he can take other children to school and activities in the same city, yet never sees or speaks to his own son, unless it’s for a party or planned photo opportunity, is appalling and inexcusable.”
Kim Kardashian On Tristan “Stepping Up,” Jordan Craig’s Sister Shuts Down Her Thompson Praises
As mentioned, during a confessional moment in the episode, Kim K. explains her appreciation for Tristan’s growth and involvement in her children’s lives.
“Of course, his actions and who he was, so f**ked up, and I can’t deny that. We’ve had our talks about it, we’ve had our fights about it, we’ve had our arguments about it. But he’s also shown so many decent things, and just has been a really good person and friend.”
Kim added that Tristan Thompson “stepped up” when he noticed her “struggling” with her four children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm — whom she shares with Ye.
“[Tristan] started showing up to the games, he picks Saint up, takes him to dinner, and will always come to my defense, especially if it’s stuff with me and my ex,” Kim added. “And I just like never forgot that.”
In her Instagram-based statement, Kai seemingly suggested Kim Kardashian’s comments are “insensitive.” She alluded to Tristan’s multiple and highly publicized infidelity scandals during his on-and-off-again relationship with Khloe Kardashian.
“@KimKardashian, I don’t want to believe that you are this insensitive to the fact that he literally ignores his children. That’s nice if he’s been a good friend to you, but let’s consider our sisters before taking to global platforms to defend this man’s character,” Kai wrote.
Kai Craig Says Tristan Thompson Has NOT Paid Her Nephew’s Child Support
Jordan Craig’s sister also spoke on alleged inaccurate claims that Thompson provides financial assistance for Prince.
Her statement comes a little over a month since Jordan Craig filed court docs to reinforce her rights to the agreed $40,000 child support payments. Both parties settled on that amount in 2019, during Thompson’s time with the Cleveland Cavaliers, with a yearly salary of $17.7 million.

Daily Mail was first to report that Jordan had filed the “abstract of judgment” in Los Angeles. The filing serves as a public record to hold Tristan Thompson accountable for his monthly payments. In their Aug. 28 report, Daily Mail stated that there was “no indication that she has not been receiving her monthly stipend.”
But Kai Craig claims in her post that Tristan hasn’t coughed up any coins “in a long time” and that any reports stating he has are “inaccurate.” She added that Tristan has stopped paying Prince’s school tuition.
“Yet he’s being applauded for picking up and dropping off other kids to school/activities. He hasn’t even inquired about where Prince goes to school now,” Kai wrote.
Kai Craig added that her sister works “multiple jobs,” so Prince “will never have to feel a difference.”
“…stepping up for your son is not all about money it’s about the time spent. @realtristan13 you are NOT a good father if you can’t be a good father to ALL of your children.”
As previously reported, Tristan Thompson also shares two children with Khloe named True and Tatum. He also welcomed a son named Theo with Maralee Nichols in 2021. Thompson appeared absent from his youngest child’s first birthday party last December, per photos of the event.
That same month, Tristan Thompson allegedly agreed to pay Nichols $9,500 monthly in child support for Theo.
