Yesterday news broke that Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson sent a cease and desist letter to a woman who is claiming that Tristan fathered her child. Now it looks like Tristan is giving a little back story on how the woman even knows him.
According to TMZ, Tristan did hookup with Kimberly Alexander, however, it was years before she claims, also years before her child was born and years before he started dating Khloe.
A source close to Tristan reportedly told the site that Kimberly and Tristan had a one-night-stand sometime during his rookie season, which was back in 2011-2012. However, Kimberly’s child, that she claims he fathered, is reportedly around 4 or 5 years old.
The source added, after Kimberly made her paternity claim, Tristan confirmed to his legal team that they did hook up years ago and that he was confident the test would be negative because based on the timeline he could not be the father.
Tristan’s lawyer, Marty Singer, made it clear that if Tristan were the father, he would take care of his responsibilities. However, the DNA test came back negative to prove that he wasn’t the father. As we previously reported, Kimberly asked for a second test to be conducted, and Tristan agreed, however, his team wants an AABB-accredited lab to perform the test.
For those who are confused on Khloe’s involvement in the situation, in the cease and desist letter, Khloe and Tristan’s attorney said, “It has been proven that Mr. Thompson is not the father of your child and we demand that you stop claiming that he is and that he and Ms. Kardashian somehow falsified the paternity test results. It is defamatory per se to falsely assert that someone is a deadbeat dad who allegedly does not support his children, and to falsely accuse my clients of faking paternity test results.”
A source connected to Khloe reportedly told the site that she feels that this is a situation only between Tristan and Kimberly, and she only has her legal team involved because Kimberly allegedly made false claims about her after Tristan’s test came back negative.
